She remembers being fascinated by the lotions and potions that her Danish grandmother would religiously apply and in later years her interest in skin grew as she battled her own skin challenges which meant countless meetings with dermatologists but also a greater understanding about the skin. After many years working in a corporate environment in London a career shift led to training in anatomy and physiology, massage therapies and lymphatic drainage. She loved the ‘Skin and Science’ part and taking this knowledge she ran a holistic therapies business in Bristol for a few years

In more recent years Ali trained to become a Dermalogica Skin Expert – recognised as the highest level of education within the International Dermal Institute. She is constantly inspired by the continuous training she receives to help refine and develop her skills and is always on the hunt for the latest advancements in skincare to bring to her clients.

Fuelled by her early ballet dancing years Ali’s beauty ethos is borne of a life long passion for wellness and belief in the resilience and potential of the human body. She has a refreshingly simple ‘less is more’ approach to skincare (and for most things in life!) and believes that caring for skin should never be a complicated regime but one based on simple effective products and techniques that make it a pleasurable ritual – not a chore!
